Dragon Courage

The story behind the symbol

The Met describes dragons depicted with water in ink paintings exchanged across China, Korea and Japan. Artists adapted inherited images to local settings; the dragon did not have one unchanging appearance.

Original Oralumia reflection

Picture movement given a direction. Courage in a difficult conversation may mean saying one honest thing and leaving room for a reply. Your part is to make your intention clear; the other person still has their own response.

A question to sit with

Which conversation needs a clearer intention before it needs stronger words?

One small action

Take two minutes to draft one opening sentence: name what matters to you, then ask a question. Sending it is optional.

The reflection, question and action are original Oralumia writing. Cultural sources provide context, rather than personal advice.
